EMERGENCY HEALTH SERVICES
- Emergency Health Services are provided by the Emergency Service. Our level 1 emergency service provides uninterrupted service 24 hours a day.
- There is a patient registration area, triage, green area, yellow area, red area, injection room.
- All emergency cases that apply to the Emergency Service or are brought by ambulance and referral are accepted regardless of health insurance and ability to pay.
- The patient can apply to the emergency polyclinic on their own or with the 112 Ambulance.
- When the patient applies to our hospital, their T.C. identity number and national identity card are requested.
- If the patient is insured working in a foreign branch abroad, the existence of the health aid document and its validity according to the social security agreement issued by the Social Security Institution Provincial Directorate are checked. A photocopy of the health aid document according to the social security agreement is taken and delivered to the billing service at the end of the day.
- Registration of Syrian patients applying to the emergency service is made with the ID numbers given to them by the General Directorate of Migration Management. This registration is integrated with the SGK and the patient receives service free of charge.
- If the patient is brought by 112 Ambulance, he/she is taken to the relevant area without triage.
- Patients are evaluated by the triage officer. Triage is applied to the patients according to their complaints and clinical condition.
- The vital signs of the patient are taken by the triage officer and he/she is taken to the area according to the color code.
-> Red Area; Patients with Very Urgent Conditions, Critical, Seriously Injured, Life-threatening or Injured Patients who need to be treated quickly.
-> Yellow Area; Patients in emergency and stable condition. These patients need medical care but their condition is not serious.
-> Green Area; Patients in non-urgent, stable condition. The priority of intervention for these patients is 3rd according to the red and yellow codes.
- In the green area, the patient who is examined and whose treatment is completed is discharged after the examination.
- In the yellow area; short-term medical follow-up and treatments are performed. If a positive response is received to the treatment given during the period he/she stays in the observation room, the patient is discharged, and if he/she needs to be treated as an inpatient as a result of the follow-up and treatment, he/she is admitted to the relevant clinic or referred to another health institution.
- Only 1 person is allowed in for the examination if needed.
- Visitors are not accepted for patients who are being observed in the Emergency Department. Only one companion is with the patient when necessary.
- The list of patients taken under observation in the Emergency Department and the information about the process they are in are displayed on the LCD screen in the waiting area. In addition, the examination results of those examined in the green area can be followed on the information screen.
