He was born in Izmir. He had his primary and secondary education in Izmir.
He graduated from Izmir İnönü Anatolian High School. He completed his primary and secondary education in Ýzmir 9 Eylül University Faculty of Medicine in 1988 and served in the Turgutlu district of Manisa for 1.5 years.
He completed his specialty education in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology Department of Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 1995 and worked as a Specialist Doctor in this hospital for a while.
In the following years, he started to work in Çeşme State Hospital.
